firstly, i put a lot of items in my basket and the delivery charge was over £30 because they post from each independent stall instead of employing someone to go round picking your order which I think is a huge flaw in this system, I live in Manchester so I cannot go to the market myself, there is no way anyone is ever going to pay £30 plus for delivery, you need to employ a picker and this will reduce this problem. 2nd i then ordered two cocktail sets (these also were coming from two separate stalls) which said 3-5 working days for delivery but may take longer due to covid, I could accept this as I know the postal services are struggling at the moment, however, I ordered 8 other things from other businesses after I had ordered from borough box and they all arrived, so, on the 4th working day i emailed to ask where my items are, they hadn't even left the warehouse yet. this is a joke. it is December, you should of planned that you were going to be busy and employed some temp staff or just rota'd in more of your current staff. it is never ok to leave peoples items sat there after four days of them having paid for it when you state 3-5 working days to receive. its just simply not good enough and very very pro service. i have cancelled my order and am now awaiting my money back. disastrous and would not recommend. (i normally go above and beyond to recommend small businesses but on this occasion this was a disgrace).
