Learners have found the training to be inflexible. While it is appreciated that in order to give a full certificate it was agreed that an attendance certificate would be provided to anyone who could not complete parts of the more physical tasks. Some of the learners are in their 70's. Additionally the lack of support in gaining information that would help us to identify the learning needs of a learner that failed the written test was very unhelpful. This could have been provider to the learner themselves to avoid any data protection issues.
