I have always bought Ford vehicles beginning with a Pinto. I have been a loyal customer since the 1970’s. I currently have a 2012 Focus and 2017 Escape. I have had Mustangs, Escort, Festiva, Crown Vic, and Marquis. I always thought that I would buy Ford vehicles all of my life. Not anymore. I have had many recalls on my Focus and Escape. It’s been so frustrating and I would not recommend anyone to buy Ford products. It pains me to say this but it’s true. I’m sad that it’s come to this. If Ford would step up and say, “ We’ve made mistakes but we will make it right” I would be more than happy. My Focus has 70,000 miles on it and it’s 13 years old. I can’t believe that it’s come to this but I don’t anyone going through what I have. I realize that recalls are a part of our world today but I also want it to not be so commonplace.
