All the ferment starters I have purchased have worked beautifully. I love the Bulgarian yoghurt, it is the best yoghurt. The alaskan sourdough starter is producing lovely bread and crumpets. I would have no hesitation in recommending freshly fermented. Packaging was excellent and instructions easy to follow, my Kombucha scoby is producing like mad, will be giving some to family and friends. I am so enjoying the whole process of fermenting. I owe this obsession to listening to Liz Earle. Thank you.
