The flowers themselves were beautiful, but they arrived so late in the day, I was starting to think, they weren't going to show up. This was for a birthday. You usually want to receive birthday flowers early in the day, so that the person being honored can enjoy them all day. It wasn't a holiday or any other special occasion that would warrant a busy flower delivery day, so I'm a little upset that it was delivered so late. We had already left for dinner by the time they arrived, so I'm double lucky that someone didn't steal them off our front porch.
