The only way I can get the rubber lid to go completely down on the cup is to run warm water over it to stretch the rubber to secure it to fit my 16 oz Propel water bottle. Then the warm lid gets the water warm. I guess I can put it in the fridge to get it cold again. But if your not near a fridge or in a hurry you can't do that
