One Star – A Complete Waste of Time and Money Absolutely disgusting service from Funding Circle. They’ve completely wasted my time and negatively affected my credit score for no reason. I applied for a loan and was initially accepted after they performed a credit check – which has now left a mark on my report. After that, they asked me to send more paperwork, which cost me additional money as I had to pay my accountant to prepare it. I complied and sent everything they asked for. Then, days later, they demanded even more documents – an endless, unnecessary bureaucracy. Again, I sent what they requested. After all that effort, time, and expense, they sent me a cold, generic email refusing the loan altogether. They’re happy to burn your name with credit agencies, but have no accountability when it comes to keeping their end of the deal. This company is a joke – making promises, leading you on, and then rejecting you with no proper explanation. I’ve since applied with another lender and was approved instantly – no games, no nonsense. Funding Circle are time-wasters and paper-pushers who will damage your credit and give you nothing in return. Avoid at all costs.
