Absolutely disgusting service from Funding Circle. They’ve completely wasted my time and negatively affected my credit score for no reason. I applied for a loan and was initially accepted after they performed a credit check – which has now left a mark on my report. After that, they asked me to send more paperwork, which cost me additional money as I had to pay my accountant to prepare it.
I complied and sent everything they asked for. Then, days later, they demanded even more documents – an endless, unnecessary bureaucracy. Again, I sent what they requested. After all that effort, time, and expense, they sent me a cold, generic email refusing the loan altogether.
