I bought a small bookcase but the height of the shelves was far less than the usual minimum of 10 inches- it was only 8.5, which is only high enough for paperbacks. When I wrote to tell them, they said I should have asked about the shelf height and did not accept that a customer can expect the normal minimum height.
They then want to charge £35 for return of what I consider to be faulty goods and want me to re-wrap the shelves and send them photos to show that that has been done in a way that will prevent damage in transit before they will collect. That is impossible as it would mean buying a whole noew lot of foam padding and huge sheets of cardboard- in other words, they are making it impossible to return the goods, so i shall not do so but sell them on e-bay.
I consider them to be a bunch of cowboys
