Overall we are pleased with the value of the side board. The instructions were less intuative that ikea but still manageable. The side board top has two chips in it (see the photos attached). Unfortunately I did not see them until I was fitting the top. I expect they happened in transit (as there were no chips of wood on the carpet where I built it) but can't be sure given I didn't notice them when I was unpacking.
