Website promised 1. Confirmation of the delivery day 24 hours beforehand. .2. Notification of a 4-hour time slot, by email and text, on the evening before delivery. 3. A call,from the driver on the day to say he was on his way. None of that happened. All we got was an email on June 18 to say delivery would be on June 24. In fact the order arrived on June 23 without any advance warning, early in the morning, just as the recipient, my daughter, was about to leave for work. Because the delivery was very heavy packages to construct a bed, she was unable to get it inside the house on her own, and had to leave it in an unsecured position all day while she was at work. Help for her would have been in place if the company’s delivery promises had been kept. (I accept Covid restrictions don’t allow delivery men to enter houses). It was sheer chance that there was someone in the house when the delivery arrived, and fortunate that there was no thief with a vehicle around during the day to take advantage of a golden opportunity. What a shambles of a delivery service. Good job the bed seems ok.
