“Given a delivery slot- telephoned to check- yes correct delivery time and date. Still not arrived at 22.24 despite ringing again and being told driver at delivery 79 and we are 80- over 3 hours ago”

“Please be aware that they will not deliver into your home. I ordered a sofa and a footstool. I phoned to ask about delivery and after a lot of messing around I was told they would bring it into my living room. (I am a woman on my own and there is no way I could manage it) I was told it would be okay. Then - a day before the delivery - I phoned again just to make sure all was okay. After an hour and a half on the phone, I was told that the delivery (into the house) is at the discretion of the courier. I could not take the chance and have my new furniture sitting in the road. I had to cancel my purchase. I had also arranged for a removal firm to collect my old sofa and because of the late cancellation, I lost the money I had paid them. I live in a house and the distance from the street to my living room is about 20 feet...”
