I recently bought the leather repair kit and filler to suit to suit. the patch to be repaired was some 8 to 10 inches long and 2 inches wide. before commencing to try and repair the settee. I inserted some very soft leather underneath the leather of the settee and glued it to the underside of the settee leather, so it totally cover the repair area. I then proceeded to carry out the instructions as supplied. Although it took quite awhile to complete the repair and apply all the finishing process the result was absolutely brilliant. The repair can still be seen on close inspection ,but when you consider the cost of the repair kit against having the settee recovered it was a no contest. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to buy the repair kit. It certainly did an excellent job for me. Mr H D Joynes South Wales
