I bought the full colour-matched kits to repair and resurface two very worn bi-cast leather sofas from Furniture Clinic and followed the instructions and advice to the letter. After a lot of time consuming work both sofas looked almost as good as new. Sadly, due to the nature of bi-cast leather this only lasted a few months before it began to flake off again, I don't think this is any reflection on Furniture Clinic, their advice or their products, rather it is a reflection on bi-cast leather itself and the limits of what can be done with it - it's the hamburger of the leather world, and once it starts to go it's pot-luck as to how well any repair/resurface will bind (probably owing to different manufacturers using different formulations in bi-cast production).
