I bought Furniture Clinics' coloured leather balm after seeing it being used on a cat scratched settee on Youtube. Their website was so easy to navigate and is full of information. I just bought the balm to see if it worked,and was really surprised to see the results; it was brilliant. I used a Wahl electric haircutter to cut back the bits the cats had pulled and then sanded it with 320 grit wet and dry (used dry). I then applied the balm, rubbing it in with a circular motion. I then sanded lightly and applied another light coat of balm allowing the balm to dry fully between coats.In total I used three coats ; The result is fantastic. I just have to buy the finishing product and the job is done. Highly recommended, K. T. Forde
