Honestly just save yourself the stress and frustration, and shop somewhere else
I bought a divan set from the New Malden branch and regretted the day I stepped foot into this store. The experience up to the point of sale was nice, however, it went down-hill after my purchase. This is my experience in summary:
- On the day of my delivery, what was delivered was a broken divan base, and a headboard with pins sticking. The delivery crew were also careless and damaged the mattress. I tried calling the depot and the branch to report this, but no response, and so had to go into the store to report this.
- In the month that followed, I spent a lot of time chasing up with emails, calls, and having again to take time of work to go into store to see the Manager because I kept being ignored, or promised call backs which never came. Eventually, two months later they redeliver a replacement divan base, but it’s the wrong one. In the process, they damage my flooring in the bedroom.
- For two months, I was sleeping on the wrong divan which was incredibly uncomfortable as it was a soft spring-based base compared to the firm based I had ordered. Eventually, I get the right order, but in the process the delivery crew drop the base whilst removing it from the van out of sheer carelessness.
To summarize: It’s been six months and this issue is still open. Despite trying to set time up to discuss the situation, or asking for an email response, I’m being ignored. I have been left with a damaged mattress, and damage to my flooring. I can’t emphasis enough how much I urge you not to shop here. The frustration and stress is not worth it.
