I have used the system for a couple of years, and I can hardly have house plants without it, as i spend 6 months of the year away from my apartment. In combination with Rainpoint I can schedule the watering to fit each of the plants needs. However, there is one problem: the beams have a tendency to stop working, and I then have to purchase new ones. This year, I changed the batteries in the beams as preparation for my 6 months away from the department, and thre of the beams stopped sending information on the humidity of the soul. I ordered therefore 3 new beams, two of which work fine and the third shows excessive humidity when it obviously is not the case. The FYTA beams are great, but if you could eliminate the product quality issues, they would be even greater. Or maybe I am doing something wrong. In that case, I would be happy to know what it is. I should add that last year I had a similar problem when I removed the beams.
