my name must be idiot
Hi, after waiting 5 weeks to receive my parcel of you. The tracking updated to delivered. So I contacted your courier Yodel several times to ask them where it was. I checked with my neighbors who have not had it. They promised me there driver would go collect it and re-deliver it, which did not happen. For some reason there depot tried to contact the driver, but he wouldn't respond. Which makes you think he has something to hide. I was told it had been signed by someone with a D and Y in there name, but they couldn't make it out. Now im told it was signed by josh. Which is really suspicious, as the chances of someone else signing for my parcel with my name is low. The courier is the most unprofessional ever and they have now advised me to contact my supplier, you to deal with the matter. The tracking numnber for the parcel with yodel is : JJD0002256681841134. I how ever have had enough of this disastrous ordeal and wish for a refund. I have made copies of conversations and chats with the courier and you. I will have no choice but to involve my bank and other unions of this matter if this is not resolved promptly. thank you, josh Dear joshua, Thank you for contacting Gamiss.com. I'd like to inform you that your order has been shipped out. Below is the detail information. The Holiday season is coming and we wish you receive your items on time. However, kindly note that this is peak season for the shipping companies and local post offices that may face a backlog with deliveries. Your tracking number(s) may not get updated in time due to the delay between scanning events and the website's updates. Santa Claus has also informed us that he too is overwhelmed this time of year and might be delivering some presents a little late. We therefore warmly remind you to expect some delays during this time meantime Santa is doubling up his elf-power to get his sleigh loaded and presents delivered as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding your order. We will always do our best to help you. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season! Gamiss Customer Service http://www.gamiss.com/ If your parcel doesn't turn up, or is late, your first port of call should be the retailer as this is who has the relationship with the courier or parcel company. By law, goods should be delivered within a 'reasonable time'. What's reasonable will depend on the type of goods and the original estimate for delivery. When it comes to problems with deliveries – say a parcel has gone missing or the contents is damaged – you will have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which came into force in June 2013 and replaced the Distance Selling Regulations. Under the Consumer Rights Act, when you buy goods from an online retailer, they are responsible for the goods until you receive them. So if the courier loses the goods you ordered or they are damaged, the retailer is responsible for putting things right, not the courier. If you paid for a timed delivery – for example, the next day – and your parcel is late, you're perfectly entitled to ask for a refund of the money you paid for faster delivery. Similarly, if the consumer told the retailer before the contract was entered into that delivery within an agreed timeframe was essential, then the consumer can cancel the order and ask for a refund.
