I ordered an item from Garden Store Direct and after numerous phone calls in which I was assured the item was on the way I finally cancelled the order and requested a refund.
They agreed to the refund immediately (as they acknowledged that their delivery people had not even tried to deliver the item) and sent me confirmation indicating that the money would be refunded in 7 days. 3 weeks later I am still waiting and have raised and escalated a case with Paypal.
Do not buy from these people, but if you do make sure you have some form of payment protection.
