Admiral's travel insurance is not fit for purpose. If you're making any journey that involves some sort of change, you're not covered for anything apart from the first part. I was travelling to the Loire by train and was stranded in Paris due to an electrical fault. The Platinum insurance I took out only covered me for the Eurostar. Apparently I'd be covered if I'd travelled with Ryanair... Admiral is not exactly promoting sustainable travel. Avoid this company.
