Admiral are crooks. They do not want to pay you for any kind of delay/cancellation and will pull out any stops to avoid compensation.
My flight was delayed 24+ hours and as per the policy I was entitled to... a mere £50 for my delay. It's taken a month and they have refused to pay my claim because the airline gave "multiple reasons" for the delay - including mechanical WHICH they agree to cover per policy. Did they? No.
They gave some egregious response about one two delay reasons negating a claim - it doesn't say anything about this in my policy document.
I will be submitting a complaint to the Ombudsman and cancelling my policy immediately.
Believe me they do not want to help or pay you - take your insurance elsewhere!
