I had an issue where someone had taken out car insurance on my address and they received a no claims bonus for 5 YEARS where I have resided over the last 10 years. Admiral, somehow allowed this person to take out the insurance without any thorough check and had provided me with all the details of the applicant. (data protection issue) If you get frauded the customer services manager will not assist and seems to be too important to deal with customer queries. They even had the gall to ask me to send the document back to them even though they didn’t lift a finger to help. Absolutely appalling service from the manager especially when it is in the company/customers best interest to keep information safe and accurate to prevent against these sorts of frauds. I then asked for the customer service advisor to refer me to the fraud department and the 1st advisor acted like they didn't have a fraud service which the IFB confirmed that they were clearly not being honest. A lady called Alison from claims (Thank you) passed me through to a gentleman called ARBAZ who was quick and helpful and reported my concern within 10 minutes. The manager needs to be trained by Arbaz on how to treat their customers which could’ve freed up their phone line. Admiral will now be looking forward to receiving a message from the IFB regarding this issue and makes me question how desperate has this company become where they are so quick to take a customer’s money without doing a proper check on the resident’s details. As I have previously been a customer with Admiral, I will NEVER be joining them again.
