I needed to claim because I took a chip out of a walk-in bath. The repair was good and I knew there was a £150.00 excess. I assumed that I would pay that to Admiral and so I waited for a bill. This week I have had a non payment letter from Plastics Surgeon, a Devon based firm. When I rang to find out what had happened I was told by them that Cunningham Lynsey who processed my claim required the repairers to collect the excess directly from me. Since this goes back to last September I am very annoyed because on principal I settle my bills promptly. i am also surprised that the chosen firm is based at the other end of the country from where I live. My lack of Faith in Admiral's agent Cunningham Lynsey will make me less likely to renew my policy later this year.
