Sold my car on 13 May 2017. Wrote to Churchill explaining why I would no longer require car insurance and that I was cancelling the direct debit. Received a letter a week later asking for payment for the cancelled DD. I phoned the company three times each time held in a queue for so long I nearly gave up. Each call was answered but they hung up as soon as I started speaking. On the third time I called I requested a call back which duly happened but again the "customer service" team hung up as I was speaking. On the fourth time I called I was actually acknowledged only to be shunted from department to department each time put on hold again. I gave up and will never again use this company. I will not call again and waste my time on these ignorant idiots and they better not send me a bill either as they will be getting one back from me for my time and costs.
