I am extremely disappointed with Churchill Insurance. The way they handled my complaint was unacceptable—slow, unhelpful, and dismissive. I felt ignored throughout the process, and the outcome was completely unsatisfactory. I will not be renewing my policy when it expires, and I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this company. In my experience, Churchill is the worst insurance company I’ve dealt with in the UK. I will be escalating my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. Avoid if you value good customer service. Abdelazim

I decided not to renew my policy, I spoke with an agent who tried to offer me a better deal but I declined. However, come the renewal date, my policy was renewed against my wishes, they took money from my account and then I was told I'd have to wait 7 working days to get my money back. This is terrible customer service

Autorenewed a policy after I had set up one manually with slightly different details, the chat function was either AI or being answered from somewhere else in the world, they ended up cancelling both policies and only sending one refund. Really poor communication throughout.

Even after I presented all the evidence of verification, they refused to verify and kept my money. The worst corporation ever for investments. Third-rate customer support. All they are are dishonest con artists and robbers. Contact M E R S E Y H I P. C O M for help; they have you covered.

This company that appeared legitimate but turned out to be a sophisticated scam. They initially lured me in with promises of high returns on investments, supported by what seemed to be professional advice and convincing performance reports. Over time, they gained my trust, and I invested a significant amount of money—$93,000 in total.After I made the investment, communication started to dwindle, and when I tried to withdraw my funds, they either delayed the process or ignored my requests altogether. It became clear that I had fallen victim to a scam. 177% INCREASE ON CAR INSURANCE SINCE 2023 17th Dec 2 days later and still awaiting callback from manager. I have been with Churchill car insurance for possibly in excess of 30 years. They have been fairly competitive with prices in the past and I was pleased with the service so stayed with them. Up until 2023 I was paying around £280. However, In 2023/2024 my premium virtually doubled to over £523. I had a lot going on at the time and although far from happy I chose to continue with them. However, I have just received a quote for the next year for £775! This is how loyal customers are now treated. They are charging what they choose to. I also just filled in an online quote, as sometimes they used to come up cheaper than the one they would send by post, It came up as nearly £3000!! It’s laughable. THE POSTAL QUOTE OFFERED IS AROUND A 177%increase from 2023! Absolutely disgusted that this is how Churchill treat loyal customers. If you go on any of the comparison sites they are numerous companies offering rates of around £420-500. I am awaiting a callback from a manager on Monday. Date of experience: 15 December 2024

However nearly one month on when I thought my vehicle was being repaired. I have since found out that the vehicle is still in situu at the breakdown recovery yard. Only a 1 star from me I'm afraid. Churchill were great at the beginning on a non fault accident. However nearly one month on when I thought my vehicle was being repaired. I have since found out that the vehicle is still in situu at the breakdown recovery yard. Apparently Churchill do not have a garage within the Wirral area that will fix the broken parts. The insurance company Churchill take £640 a year knowing full well they will not have any garages to fix any broken parts. Guess what you have to go out and source your vehicle yourself. What is more interesting is that Churchill have taken 24 day's to inform me of this matter. On my profile notes it states. Customer will find his own garage. I think my business will go elsewhere come May 25.

Poor customer service, asked to upgrade my insurance happy to pay the extra but the deposit was nearly double what I’d already paid? Customer service hung up after saying they would put me on a brief hold to speak to someone. Shocking company stay clear!

Great customer service. My Range Rover Autobiography was stolen outside my driveway few weeks back. I am with a churchill UK insurance for 4 years now. They just asked how and what happened, asked for Police CRN and my bank details. They gave me the market value of the car. I would definitely recommend them. .

Admin mistakes led to cancellation of policy by company. I wanted an organised and professional company to deal with, sadly not my experience here! Churchill let me down
