Only a 1 star from me I'm afraid. Churchill were great at the beginning on a non fault accident. However nearly one month on when I thought my vehicle was being repaired. I have since found out that the vehicle is still in situu at the breakdown recovery yard. Apparently Churchill do not have a garage within the Wirral area that will fix the broken parts. The insurance company Churchill take £640 a year knowing full well they will not have any garages to fix any broken parts. Guess what you have to go out and source your vehicle yourself. What is more interesting is that Churchill have taken 24 day's to inform me of this matter. On my profile notes it states. Customer will find his own garage. I think my business will go elsewhere come May 25.

Poor customer service, asked to upgrade my insurance happy to pay the extra but the deposit was nearly double what I’d already paid? Customer service hung up after saying they would put me on a brief hold to speak to someone. Shocking company stay clear!

Great customer service. My Range Rover Autobiography was stolen outside my driveway few weeks back. I am with a churchill UK insurance for 4 years now. They just asked how and what happened, asked for Police CRN and my bank details. They gave me the market value of the car. I would definitely recommend them. .

Admin mistakes led to cancellation of policy by company. I wanted an organised and professional company to deal with, sadly not my experience here! Churchill let me down

Out of my 6 years of driving I will never ever be going back to Churchill let me run this down for you started with the company from July were now in November I've rang up 5 times over the last 4 months for them to tell me they have a IT problem and they will ring me back never heard nothing back decided to ring back for the last time In this November for them to tell me there's a defect with my insurance. After already taking a payment off me they then tell me they need to cancel my insurance start a new one and take another payment again in the same month with no refund after all I wanted was my no claims discount protecting adding on which I already added on from the start then once the insurance started they decided it wasn't protected after 4 months of IT issues they tell me oh we can now add protected no claims that they also confirmed I put it on in the first place to also say sorry for the amount of times ive called and no call back for them to turn around and say yes we can add it but need to cancel and take another payment with just a sorry. That's my last time using this company and stay away never had a issue with anyone else apart from these shocking 😡

Cancelled my insurance despite having paid and confirmed through the app. They sent info to the wrong email without my knowledge. Re quoted me an additional 500 on top of my previous claim. Absolutely disgusted and won't recommend these lot ever again👎

Shout out to the staff. It was truely inspiring when a staff member comes to work to take care of the residents delivering exceptional care while suffering a great personal loss. Truely remarkably. What was more inspiring is how the team mates rallied around this worker to support. Aged care has had its quota of bad wraps but i have only witnessed positve things and great care. This is evident by the smiles and gratitude we receive each day by our residents

Quote rose over £250 between Compare the Market & Churchill On 24th October 2024, I was forwarded to Churchill via Compare the Market for car insurance. However once forwarded to the Churchill site; the price jumped by over £250. I then queried this increase via a chat box agent who requested that I send him a screenshot of the Compare the Market quote. I did this but he could not explain the increase and suggested that I phone up and speak to Churchill direct!!! I wasted over an hour with him attempting to take out insurance; but lost faith with Churchill; so went to Aviva via Compare the Market and within 15 minutes took out my car insurance. No hassle with Aviva, price as quoted by Compare the Market. Simples!

Trustworthy! It isn't often you have to encounter the customer service of an insurance company. If something goes wrong and you have to make a claim, that's pretty much the only time. But recently we were contacted by Churchill to say they had made an error on our car insurance. They had overestimated (and therefore overcharged us) by £240. They were writing to say that they were going to repay the money AND pay us compound interest on that amount for the period they'd owed us the money. So over £270 hit out bank account. We did nothing - it was all on them to realise there was a problem, decide to pay interest and get it paid to us. Perhaps this should be more normal practice, but they've really gone up in my estimation of trustworthiness.

My mother bumped into a parked car while trying to avoid another car that didn't respect a stop sign. As a result, there was damage to my mother's bumper and the other person's car, which was parked by the roadside. The damage wasn't major, so we were undecided about whether to go through insurance or just pay directly to avoid increasing my mother's premium. I called Churchill and explained that before officially making a claim, I wanted to know if, and by how much, my policy premium would increase. We had some difficulty getting through to someone who could answer the question; the first person we spoke to was like a robot. Eventually, we got through to someone who said the premium would not increase. I explicitly asked twice, "Are you sure it won't increase the premium?" and I was assured there would be no increase. Perfect, I thought, let's make the claim. Two months later, the renewal letter for the insurance arrived. And what did we find? The premium had increased by £700 to a total of €1250! I called Churchill and explained that this was contrary to the information I had received. They were very apologetic and said it was a terrible mistake, but the information provided earlier was incorrect, and there was nothing that could be done to reduce the premium. Let there be no mistake, there was no misunderstanding on my part regarding whether the premium would increase. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Churchill trying to find someone who could answer that question before actually making the claim. (I would also add that the issue caused an argument in the family, as my father was adamant that making a claim would increase the premium, and he was against making the claim; hence the initial telephone call to Churchill.) Anyhow, my advice is don't beleive a word they say.

Just been informed they have overcharged me £597 on my car insurance, absolutely outrageous. An absolute rip off. Churchill cannot be trusted as an insurer. Beware!

Really rude staff in dealing with a claim from a 3rd party (us) as the insurer of the party at fault.

I purchased the insurance and then was told 5 days later that it would. E cancelled if I didn’t download an app which tracked my driving. I went through the whole process again to find where I agreed to this and couldn’t. The service team then told me they couldn’t find it but it’s in my account. They couldn’t help me and were truly awful. It’s a scam.

I have drivesure. I am in Rome, using various coaches and transfers. The app will not load, but still recording my journeys. It is persistently draining my battery which I need for Google maps. If I cancel the app, my ins is invalid on the drive home from the airport. A totally flawed system that I would recommend to no one. I will be using a different company when it next renews!

In June 2022, I was involved in an accident caused by a reckless motorcyclist who overtook a line of cars at excessive speed on a road clearly marked with "two parallel lines and diagonals between them"—indicating that crossing was only allowed when absolutely necessary. I was turning right to go home, well within my legal rights, with multiple witnesses to the incident. The attending police officer documented everything on the scene, including witness statements. However, when I filed my claim, this insurance company began dragging their feet. They kept giving me empty promises of resolution, repeatedly telling me “tomorrow” only for nothing to change. They then claimed they couldn’t contact the witness and, incredibly, couldn’t include the police officer's report in the case file. This is completely absurd and reeks of incompetence. To make matters worse, they disregarded the road markings that were crucial to proving my innocence. As a result, I was unjustly denied the return of my £700 Excess Amount, simply because, according to them, there was "no proof" that I wasn't at fault. This is nothing short of legalized extortion! This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly not interested in providing the service they promise. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs!

everyone should be very careful i got scammed on this site twice, fortunately i was very lucky to get a recovery company site from my good friend who has been a victim before, the company helped me to get my lost funds back and I'm very happy honestly speaking, I should have dropped this company site link here, but this scam company refused. you can help yourself out by contacting COVSECLTD if you are a victim too.

If I could give this company zero stars I would! I have 3rd party fire and theft on my current car with Churchill, as it’s only worth £400, I called Churchill for a quote on a vehicle I’ve not yet purchased, the car I’m purchasing costs £6,000 I was asked the value by a female called Khayak Azi in the Cape Town call centre, she put all the details through and she said that my quote had been “declined due to the high value of the car” £6,000?? NOT high value at all! Khayak has put the quote through as 3rd party fire and theft!! NOT fully comp! She even laughed at me over the phone when I became upset!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and just as I expected no supervisor available! Churchills advertising implies all the time that this is a UK company! British Bulldog, British Mini Cooper, how can they treat people like this! I am now going to have to cancel the car that I have put a deposit on due to no company willing to insure me after I have to declare that I have had a policy ‘declined’ I am taking this all the way! FCA Ombudsmen, escalating this to the very top and taking solicitor advice! Absolutely disgusting service, this major problem that this has created for me is down to South Africa call centre operative Khayak Azi who took my call on the 24/07/2024 at 19:30 pm
