Guttering got blown off front of my house last weekend with the 'high winds' up in Aberdeen - called up & reported it nice friendly guy even told me we had 57mph winds in Abedeen as we spoke..Churchill Sent up guy to take photo's etc - turns out it's not classed as a storm if it's not above 55mph winds! bins were all over the street + a tree down! So NO claim!!! Total joke they get there wind speeds off weather forecast which varies - was only going to be claiming around £200 after paying my excess..have over 5 years no claims(actually never claimed insurance before) so cancelled my policy immediately to gain some money back I paid them & wont use or advise Churchill again - especially with our high winds weather nowadays!
