One Star. Absolute Tip Off Merchants Praying On Young
One star. Avoid.
I took out a learner driver policy with Collingwood Insurance and cancelled it after passing my test. They congratulated me—then took 40% of my premium, plus a £75 cancellation fee and a £40 admin fee. Total rip-off.
There was no clear warning that cancelling after doing exactly what the policy is meant for (passing your test!) would cost this much. Feels like they're just taking advantage of new drivers.
Would not recommend. Hidden fees, bad service
