Had a phone call from dd in july 2020 saying someone had claimed i hit their , they had no registration, no name, no time, no street name, just a date. I informed them i had hit no one, had a further call 4 weeks later asking me bout incident, still no details, i told them go and do your job and find out who it is im supposed to have hit? Because there has been no incident. Never heard a thing so roll on oct for renewal, it was up by £60 so i got another deal with another insurer for a lot less and better policy online, cancelled with dd but when i tried to activate my nee policy it said I needed to phone them. They said their is a claim i didnt declare and the increase would be an extra £500 😳. I phoned dd and they said i would have to renew with them and a form would be filled in by them and sent off taking a few days to sort the mess out. Still waiting and being forced to have their insurance 😡😡😡
