My own fault, don't buy cheap! The claim started well and the staff were friendly and professional throughout the very long process.
My vehicle was taken away in days and the assessment and valuation back in days after that - all communication was in text or email unless I called them (half hour plus phone calls at my expense). The first valuation was apparently done by a company that should not have dealt with my type of claim, no wonder it was a ridiculous offer that I declined. after a great deal of calls I went with the underwriters who still took weeks and two offers.
After 3 months I received a payout on a no blame claim and still had to explain the final settlement agreed with the chap who was authorising the payment. On the whole a nightmare on top of my vehicle being written off while parked outside my home. Not impressed, worst ever experience of an insurance company.
