I had to change my van insurance from one that had failed its MOT to one that I was buying. The thing was that I had a few days gap between losing one van to buying a different one. I rang Dial Direct and explained my situation thinking I would have to go through all the questions to cancel one Insurance then having to start a new one in a weeks time. Oh how lovely the young lady was from Dial Direct. She must have known my distress and she also noticed I had been with the company a very long time.
To my delight I was given 2 weeks grace to sort out a replacement van. Once I got my different van, I rang Dial Direct back and everything was set back up exactly the same as before with exception of the extra payment for the change over which was just a standard price. I couldn't believe it. The call was also covered by my unlimited minutes and not an outlandish number with a prime time number at £12 pm.
