The practice of offering an extremely high autorenewal quote has been removed in recent years, although calling up each time (which is straight forward) still reduces the amount somewhat and allows the opportunity to ensure details etc. are up-to-date. Not many firms offer the type of insurance cover I require so appreciate there is the opportunity for a broker who has renewal options available.
