My son had a learner driver insurance with this company. We asked for 6 months insurance but was advised by the expert to take out 12months as if you pass within 3 months you would get half back and then every month after that would be pro rata. So he passed 4 months and 2 weeks and we have been offered £54 back. The policy cost 463. However if we had not been badly advised we would have paid £300 for a 6 month policy this makes my son who is an apprentice £100 worse off. I am disgusted and asked to speak to someone but got told they would send terms and condition booklet through and I could write a complaint. Surely to avoid negative reviews it would be better to speak to that person and try to assist them. Very unhappy and definitely will be complaining.
Spoke with a very nice and helpful person.
Said they would review the original phone call.
Got a call back confirming that we were correct and sorted out amicably .
