Worst provider I've been with.
Currently with this provider. One star is too much. Worst experience of any insurance company I've ever used.
I was crashed into last year, while my car was parked in a car park. After getting my car repaired at the place of my insurers choosing, I've been out of pocket £350 pounds from my excess which they made me pay. General Accident have made no effort to recoup my losses from the at fault party's insurer, spoken to them multiple times on the phone and all they do is pass the buck, or leave you on hold for hours. The customer service on the phone has been awful. If you love terrible customer service, don't want any help from your insurance if you need to claim and want to be out of pocket hundreds of your own money as well then they're for you, if not, stay clear.
