Halifax charged me 282 pounds for insurance last year and I have an ultimate reward account with them paying 15 ounds per month.
The renewal for this year is 540 pounds.
I have not claimed on house insurance for over 20 years so why has the premium doubled? Is it because they think people won't check the price?
Ridiculous and needless to say I won't be reinsuring with them again.
