Bought the home insurance policy two weeks ago and despite several telephone request for policy documents to be emailed to me, I still haven’t received them!
Every time I have spoken to a Halifax customer service representative they have argued with me saying that I only need the policy reference number then reluctantly said they’d email it to me and haven’t done so!
Terrrible customer service and doesn’t bode well if I needed to make a claim in the future. I have just spoken to them yet again and been advised that they will email my documents to me. If I’m not in receipt of them within the two hours we agreed to,I’ll be reporting the matter to the financial conduct authority.
