Well, go to the shops and price each item" I haven't taken it any further - I was made to feel like a fraudster, just because we don't have a camera and don't have mobile phones with cameras. Even if we did, the prospect of laying out - in this weather - a range of defrosted, soggy, foetid and stinking food just to take photographs of it is ludicrous beyond belief. As a Solicitor since 1972 I've always had a slightly jaundiced view of insurers - well, now I've been proved right. Shame on you Halifax!
