Long Story short. You underwrite to Allianz, they employ " Mickey Mouse company DCP to administer claims, they only used Text messages and send out engineers at ridiculous hours ( ie Bed time ) to look at problems. They have no spare parts and very little experience. Result is that Allianz refuse to repair the problem . I am 67, my wife is 66. We have not had any heating for over 1 week due to a simple timer problem. I ended up ordering a new timer and fitted it myself and everything is now working fine. Rubbish Cover by Halifax. I`m looking for a reputable Insurer now.
