I don't really think I can comment on the Halifax overall service as I haven't had to make a claim with them. It is only should that happen, that I would know if it's any good or not. The reason I took the policy out is that a previous provider, refused to pay out on a claim I had made. I had been with them for 9 years & not claimed anything so I would very much avoid using that insurance company ever again but as I said, I didn't find that out for 9 years
