Home Insurance. Had I known every element of the policy was outsourced I would not have purchased. Needed emergency assistance when boiler was spewing out carbon monoxide. Long story short ; they left us without hot water and heat for 3 days. In the end had to find my own contractor to sort the issue (which was created by JLP engineer who set the air settings incorrectly on an oil boiler when he serviced it). Lodged a complaint over a month ago and despite promises to investigate nothing has happened. JLP pass the buck to their “partner” and will not intervene ! They take no responsibility whatsoever and refer you to their incompetent partners. Commencing a case with OFTEC and the FCA for miss sold policy and incompetence - avoid at all costs. Dreadful and just don’t care …. Poor show JLP, I expected much better.
