You don’t find out how good an insurance company is until you make a claim.
I had the misfortune to make a straight forward claim regarding a leak in my kitchen, 10 months later they finally settled, the loss adjuster they used was appalling, inefficient and downright difficult.
My advice would be to use a professional company to work on your behalf, it will save you a lot of stress or better still find a different insurance provider.
