Both my parents passed away within 6 weeks of each other. I received a letter relating to my Dads pension. The letter said that an over payment had already been made. Then the amount of money they owed my mum due to her out living my Dad by 6weeks.This equated to a different of 1p we owed them.
They want my bank details so I can pay it back!
Instead I have sent a reply letter with 1p attached.
I find this appalling especially under the circumstances.
