My card was recently cloned and someone had taken a huge sum of money from me which I was completely unaware of because of how fast it had happened. Lloyds bank sent me an automated text to confirm that I'd made the transactions and I replied that I had not.
No more than 2 minutes later I recieved a call from their Fraud department & my bank account was frozen immediately, all of my money was refunded and they had a new card on the way for me. I cannot thank them enough for the great service because if it was not for the speed that they acted in I would have not known for days & the situation could have been a lot worse than it was.
Having this happen to you makes you feel very stressed and cautious (obviously) but the Gentleman I spoke to on the phone from Lloyds Fraud department made me feel calm and reassured me that they had everything under control and sorted out for me. I just had to carry on with my day-to-day things whilst they resolved what had happened.
