Arranged Van Insurance through Lloyds Bank Insurance and paid online in full. Under the terms of the policy my insurance would be cancelled if I failed to provide proof of NCD within Fourteen days. I emailed a copy of NCD which was rejected. I was then asked to pay a further £384. I refused and assumed that the policy was cancelled. The cancellation took place within ten days and therefore should not have acruded a financial penalty.
I returned from holiday to find numerous emails all asking for proof of a NCD. Clearly this is a ploy to extend the cooling off period to allow the company to impose cancellation fees.
Do not even think of buying insurance from this company.
