Bf and I went in with the intention to adopt, with us both working all week until 4 or even later, that leaves us only 15-20 minutes to look as they close at 4:30. I called ahead letting them know we’d like to adopt and apologized for the lack of time. Shelters push and push to adopt, but when 4:30 hit and we were mid application the lights were shut off and heard someone yell “closing time!”…so we decided to find somewhere else more welcoming.
