Bought 5 tubs of LIVE mealworms. Cost £11 with discount for 5. Got them home and tipped them all into large aerated large tub. At least two thirds of them were black and dead. Phoned store to complain. Was told I should have checked each individual box before buying and there was nothing they could do.
Fair point, but when I go to buy LIVE mealworms I expect them to be alive.
I wouldn't go in to buy a rabbit or guinea pig only to be handed a dead one.
