I had to end the quote process for home cover as the existence of some tools of my trade in my garage by the house meant this company would not cover me. Even though the tools are covered under a separate business policy. It then transpired that they claimed GDPR regulations make them keep my details on file for 10 years. AND YET, other insurers only keep them for 3 years.
I wonder why the difference.
