It was relatively straight forward to get a quote. The online interface was simple enough to manage and the process was smooth. As with most insurance companies attempting to lower the excess unfortunately raises the premium quite dramatically. The set £250 accidental damage excess is a bit restrictive and possibly makes claiming for accidental damage for less expensive items probably not worth it. Since I was trying to save money this year I think I got the cover I can afford which hopefully covers me for all the key things I need.
