Application via Compare the Market was straightforward, but then it's all standard stuff on all sites. Tailoring some individual elements is not possible with any insurers, so you have to accept a compromise. Policy Expert's quote was competitive, particularly compared to the 32% increase that RIAS were trying to foist on me for renewal. But of course the proof of the pudding is what happens if one makes a claim, and there's practically no info on that.
