Due to the purchase of a new car, I wished my "old" car (insured by Privilege) to be insured in my wife's name. After a telephone conversation with Privilege discussing my requirements I received incorrect documents. Following up on the error, I was given a revised quote which was more than double that of other quotes received. I cancelled the policy and am now due a pro-rata refund on the policy based on the remaining insurance period which has been agreed by Privilege. After 5 telephone conversation and a letter of complaint this matter is still not resolved and I have not received the refund due. The matter has now been running for over 2 months. If Privilege cannot handle the simple task of a refund which they acknowledge is due, they cannot be trusted with an insurance claim. This company makes commitments but does not follow through, I don't trust them and will not deal with Privilege in the future.
