My issue is that the agent may have you change products just so they can get a new commission. It may not be in your best interest what they are encouraging you to do. You really need to trust your agent and make sure they are a fiduciary. Their financial circumstances and lifestyle can make you and others easy targets. I believe that's what happened to me and probably others. I think Prudential knows but the agent passed and Prudential doesn't care.
